Responsibilities Work in a hospital cardiac catheterization lab with day shifts (4x10 hour shifts, 6 : 45 AM-5 : 15 PM) Patient population includes those requiring both cardiac and interventional radiology procedures Perform procedures such as LHC, RHC, balloon pumps, pacers / defibrillators, pericardial effusion, STEMI call, and a broad range of IR interventions including venous access, drain placements, GI tube insertion, PE, DVTs, TIPS, fistulas, UFEs, prostate embolizations, and control of internal bleeds Equipment used includes Acist injector, Siemens and Philips C-arms, Medrad power injector, Rotopro, Diamondback, IVUS, OCT, Shockwave, Rampart, Pneumbra, and Inari systems CERNER EMR system in use; EMR experience required Travelers must be willing to float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby Responsibilities include patient care for a range of advanced cardiac and interventional radiology procedures Must participate in holiday coverage, working 2 out of 3 major holidays RTO policy allows auto-approval for 5 days or less Former perm or PRN employees must be away for at least 12 months before being considered as a traveler Local candidates are accepted for this Cath Lab allied position First-time travelers are welcome for this allied role License required if applicable Requirements Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a Cath Lab setting; first-time travelers accepted with at least 3 years of experience Current ACLS, BCLS, ARRT or RCIS certification required AHA and RQI certifications are accepted and must be current Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited university at the time of graduation Circulating experience and ability to provide conscious sedation required Must hold a current IN or Compact State License in hand prior to start if applicable Experience with relevant Cath Lab / IR equipment and procedures required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-611525.
