Zaden Technologies is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to lead CI / CD automation and GitOps delivery within our software factory environments. This role focuses on building secure, automated pipelines using GitLab CI and FluxCD while ensuring supply chain security and compliance with DoD standards. You'll work onsite at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL, contributing to critical defense and space system modernization efforts.
Role Responsibilities :
- Design, implement, and manage GitLab CI / CD pipelines for containerized applications
- Integrate security scanning, SBOM generation, image signing, and artifact promotion into build workflows
- Automate deployment to Kubernetes environments using Helm and FluxCD
- Support dependency management and open-source scanning using tools like Renovate
- Troubleshoot pipeline issues and optimize CI / CD performance
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure RMF / ATO-aligned evidence collection from pipelines
- Administer and maintain Linux-based systems supporting DevSecOps infrastructure
- Contribute to continuous improvement of DevSecOps practices and tooling
Required Qualifications :
U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearanceDemonstrated experience with FluxCD and GitOps workflowsStrong CI / CD experience, particularly with GitLab CIProven troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsSelf-starter with ability to work independently and take initiativeExperience administering Linux systemsExperience with containerization technologies (Docker / Podman, Kubernetes, Helm)Preferred Qualifications :
