Your role at Hostinger

We're looking for a Senior PHP Developer who will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining backend systems and APIs that power our applications. You will collaborate closely with the front-end team and other stakeholders to ensure seamless data exchange and a smooth user experience. Proficiency in PHP and API development is crucial for success in this role.

Your day-to-day

• Design, develop and maintain backend systems and APIs using PHP.
• Collaborate with team members to define API requirements.
• Optimize APIs for performance, scalability and security.
• Implement data storage solutions and database management.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed.
• Ensure proper documentation of APIs for internal and external use.
• Monitor and troubleshoot backend services to identify and resolve issues.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in backend development.
• Deliver high-quality code solutions and make decisions on product architecture.
• Write clear, scalable and tested code that creates actual business value.
• Share feedback with your peers.
