Administrative Assistant Care Coordination Team

Primary Function / General Purpose of Position
This position will provide direct administrative assistance to the Care Coordination Team that promotes patient care and services. Will interact with patients at times at the direction of a licensed Care Coordination team member to provide assistance in scheduling and accessing information.

Licensing / Certification
Medical Assistant or higher (preferred)
Education
GED (required)
Associates Degree (preferred)
Work Experience
1 year experience in community or ambulatory care based setting.
Works well in a team setting. Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Strong analytical, data management, and computer skills. Experience with database entry. Highly organized and detail oriented. Accepts responsibility and follows through on projects and activities (required)
Experience in a healthcare related environment working with patients, families, and providers (preferred)
