Med / Surg RN Job Details Location : Lander, WY 82520 (may float between Lander & Riverton campuses) Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse Healthcare Setting : Medical / Surgical Unit Start Date : November 24, 2025 End Date : February 15, 2026 Contract Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM) Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary : $1990 - $2130 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Wyoming RN license or multi-state Registered Nurse license (attach to resume) Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg RN experience in a hospital setting Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications (American Heart Association required) Experience with pediatric and adolescent patients preferred (no dedicated peds unit) Ability to float between Lander and Riverton campuses as needed Strong communication and time management skills Med / Surg RN Responsibilities Deliver direct, individualized nursing care to pre- and post-surgical patients Collaborate with healthcare professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans Administer prescribed medications and treatments, monitoring for adverse reactions Educate patients and families on surgical procedures, post-operative care, and illness / injury management Monitor and adjust specialized medical equipment; interpret and record electronic displays Respond to life-saving situations and initiate corrective actions for adverse patient symptoms Assist physicians during examinations and treatments; prepare equipment as needed Accurately document all patient care information in a timely manner Participate in discharge planning and patient education initiatives Perform additional related duties as assigned Apply now to join our dedicated healthcare team in Lander, Wyoming, and take the next step in your travel nursing career!
