We are looking for a dedicated Patient Care Technician like you to be a part of our team. Seeking a Patient Care Technician for our practice will deliver high quality, patient-centered care by performing a variety of delegated basic patient care services related to common nursing functions and activities of daily living.

What you will do in this role :

• Assist the nursing staff in providing patient care in accordance with the PCT's skills / training and the needs of the Department
• Assist the patient care team with maintaining a clean, well-organized, and safe patient care environment
• Promote consistent, positive patient interactions that advance the agenda of unparalleled patient service
• Demonstrate caring and empathy in all interactions and advocate for patient- and family-centered approach in all decisions and actions
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills, including active listening
• Engage in evidence-based best practices that enhance the patient experience

Qualifications :

Southern Hills Hospital is a 260+ bed acute care hospital that provides emergency and pediatric emergency services, a behavioral health unit serving teens and adults, an accredited Chest Pain Center, a Certified Primary Stroke Center, and a dedicated orthopedic and spine unit. We also provide women with top level care with our OB-GYN, Level III NICU, diagnostic imaging and surgical services.
