What You'll Do
As an IT Field Technician, you will provide critical onsite support for our office and restaurant teams across multiple QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) locations. Your role will involve troubleshooting and resolving software, hardware, and networking issues, along with supporting Point-of-Sale (POS) systems. You’ll ensure uptime and system performance while delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for software, hardware, and network-related issues at various restaurant and office locations
- Troubleshoot and resolve POS system issues (experience with Aloha POS preferred)
- Maintain and repair restaurant IT infrastructure including terminals, printers, routers, switches, etc.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to restaurant-level staff and leadership
- Collaborate with internal IT teams to escalate and resolve complex issues
- Maintain documentation for site visits, incidents, and resolutions
- Support end-users remotely when needed
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 2 years of experience in technical or field support rolesStrong troubleshooting and customer service skillsRestaurant industry experience or hands-on user-level POS familiarity requiredFamiliarity with Aloha POS is highly preferredProficient with Microsoft Office and general IT toolsWorking knowledge of networking topologies, hardware setup, and operating systemsAbility to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-location environmentAdditional Requirements
Strong organizational and time management skillsReliable transportation and a valid driver’s licenseMust be available for travel approximately 80% of the time, primarily in the Houston and surrounding areas, with periodic travel to Louisiana, Minnesota, Ohio, and New YorkThis position requires flexibility, including availability across weekdays, weekends, and holidays as neededAbility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, on-call as neededMust pass a background check in accordance with local lawsWhat You’ll Get in Return
