Job Description

The Step Down Registered Nurse (RN) will provide specialized care in a Step Down / PCU unit. Responsibilities include management of trach care, bariatric patients, nocturnal vents, and stroke care, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1 : 5 for Step Down and 1 : 6 if floated to acute care. The role mandates readiness to float within the specialty department as needed.
