ESL / ELL Teacher - Full-Time or Part-Time

Job Description

As part of our mission to pave the way for children's success worldwide, Therapy Source is currently seeking  English as a Second Language Teachers (ESL) to provide in-person services for charter school students. These positions are for the current school year.

Position 1 :

Part-Time

7-8 hours per week needed (flexible scheduling during school hours)

Small caseload

Middle school students

Position 2 :

Full-Time

Mon-Fri (30-37.5 hours per week)

Grades K-12

English as a Second Language Teacher Qualification(s) :

• Must have a ESL Specialist Teaching Certification through Pennsylvania Department of Education
• TESOL Certification not accepted
• Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances
• Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)

English as a Second Language Teacher Responsibilities May Include :

• Implementing specially designed instruction to drive student achievement
• Conducting progress monitoring data and adjusting instruction based on the data
• Establishing a positive, structured, achievement-focused classroom
• Providing support to students, parents, and general education staff and supporting student learning
• Mentoring and coaching students on self-regulation and organizational skills
• Developing effective IEPs that translate into measurable results for students
• Participating in multidisciplinary meetings
