ABOUT THIS ROLE

St. Michael's is seeking candidate for a Federal Financial Closing Accountant position to support an Intelligence Community (IC) client. As the Federal Financial Closing Accountant , you will work as part of a team responsible for closing out the General Ledger entries for the client financial records. You will be in a client-facing role that will benefit from your previous auditing and bookkeeping experience and expertise, especially regarding financial system closeout procedures. Our core value of Dependability will be paramount to this role as you will be analyzing and reporting accounting data while managing demanding closeout deadlines.

WHO YOU ARE

• Active Top-Secret SCI with CI Poly
• Bachelor's Degree or higher.
• 5 or more years of Federal Accounting Experience.
• Experience with FACTS (PeopleSoft) federal programs and detailed knowledge of the USSGL, specifically relating to direct and reimbursable funding and relationships between proprietary and budgetary accounts.
• Experience with Treasury Financial Manual (TFM) for year-end pre and post-closing activities.
• Experience supporting customers in the Intelligence Community (IC).

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

COMPENSATION : As required by applicable law, St. Michael's Inc. provides reasonable pay ranges for positions based on labor market conditions in locations where compensation transparency is required. The base pay range for this position is $140,000 to $170,000. Final compensation may vary depending on geographic location, relevant skills, experience, and other job-related factors. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, based on company and individual performance.

This position is in support of an expansion of our existing contract, reflecting our continued growth and trusted partnership with the client.
