Job Description & Requirements Specialty : ED - Emergency Department Discipline : RN Start Date : 11 / 30 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) Overview The Emergency Department Registered Nurse provides high-quality, compassionate care to patients experiencing medical emergencies, trauma, or acute illness in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and effective communication under pressure. Responsibilities Assess, triage, and implement appropriate nursing interventions for emergency patients. Administer medications, monitor patient status, and perform procedures per clinical protocols. Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, efficient care. Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes. Respond promptly to emergency situations including codes and trauma activations. Qualifications Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. BLS and ACLS required; PALS and TNCC preferred. Minimum two (2) years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience required. ADN required; BSN preferred. Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401K offered.
