Travel Nurse Job Details Job Title : Telemetry Registered Nurse (Tele RN) – Travel Assignment Location : Asheville, NC 28801 Unit : 6 West Neurosciences (36 beds) Shift : 12 Hour Nights (6 : 45 PM – 7 : 15 AM) Schedule : Every other weekend required Assignment Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 2 / 2025 – End : 2 / 1 / 2026) Weekly Hours : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1650-$1770 Electronic Medical Record : Cerner Scrub Color : Navy Blue Registered Nurse Qualifications Active RN license (Registered Nurse) Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry or Medical-Surgical RN experience Current ACLS and NIHSS certifications required Proficient in IV starts and Foley catheter insertions Outgoing, self-motivated personality Neuro nursing experience preferred Ability to float to other Med-Surg units as needed Tele RN Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care in a 36-bed neurosciences telemetry unit Monitor and interpret telemetry readings; respond promptly to changes in patient condition Perform essential clinical procedures including IV starts and Foley insertions Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team (charge RN, CNAs, HUCs) for optimal patient outcomes Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols Offer compassionate support and education to patients and families Float to other Medical-Surgical units as needed Ready to take your nursing career to the next level?
