Description

CNA Duties :

• Assists patients with activities of daily living including bathing dressing, grooming, toileting, changing of bed linens, and positioning in and out of bed, chair, monitoring I & O, rounding on patients to ensure safety.
• Assists with patients' recreation programs.
• Review health care service plan, negotiated service agreement when notified of changes and daily report sheets.
• Reads communication book every week.
• Set up dining room for meals and then bus, clean and sanitize tables after the meal
• Prepares patients for meals and snacks, assists patient in eating where needed, and records food intake.
• Reads and follows daily care plans.
• Reports changes in patient condition to nurse in charge.
• Documents care provision on patient record / flow sheets as required and reports accidents and incidents.
• Provides nursing functions as directed by licensed nurse, supervisor or manager.
• Understands, complies with, and promotes all rules regarding patient rights.
• Promotes positive relationships with residents, visitors and government regulators, to include presenting a professional appearance and attitude.
• Assist in admission, transfer and discharge of residents.
• Supports and abides by the mission, values, and policies of CHCS in all activities.
• On-going compliance with CHCS educational requirements.
• All other duties as required.

CMA Duties :

Requirements

Must have an active CNA or CMA license in the state of Kansas.
