Industrial Assembly Technician

Talascend is currently seeking an Industrial Assembly Technician for a contract opportunity with our client in Olivette, Missouri

Overview

The role involves producing high quality products and services, monitoring production output, and ensuring that products meet customer specifications and quality expectations.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrated ability to follow direction, read blueprints and schematics.
• Set up and change over equipment to operate various assemblies or features.
• Identify and utilize appropriate materials, plumb or pipe pneumatics and hydraulic lines.
• Affix specified motors and gear boxes to drive components.
• Test each assembly to ensure proper fit and function.
• Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools.
• Accurately track and log assembly time sheets for each build.
• Properly identify and document QMS and department procedure.
• Maintain work area for cleanliness.
• Adherence to all safety standards and plant rules.
• Transfer assembly to appropriate department for next step in production.
• Utilize tape measures, calipers, squares, micrometers, and protractors.
• General maintenance of tools and equipment.
• Safe operation of the forklift, scissor lift and all other lift assist and tools.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
