Human Resources Analyst Or Specialist

The Michigan Civil Service Commission is looking for a motivated individual who is organized, has exemplary organizational skills with attention to detail, and is interested in working in a fast-paced Human Resources environment. This position will serve as a Human Resources Analyst or Specialist performing the full range of Classification and Selection activities serving the Department of Corrections. Ideal candidates will have :

• A strong understanding of the MCSC Classification processes.
• Ability to investigate, analyze, interpret, and apply policies, rules, regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

This position generally requires the education acquired through the possession of a bachelor's degree in any major. Specific information on the education and experience required for different class levels is in the job specifications of the Human Resources Analyst class and the job specifications of the Human Resources Specialist class.
