Job Description

Oversee daily on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards. Coordinate and communicate effectively with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams. Develop and implement safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment. Monitor project progress and address any challenges or delays proactively. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations. Maintain accurate documentation, including schedules, budgets, and reports. Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders regarding project updates and inquiries. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance construction processes and outcomes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful General Superintendent - Data Center should have a strong background in managing large-scale construction projects, particularly within the data center sector. A proven track record in managing large-scale construction projects, specifically data centers or similar facilities. Must be comfortable living permanently in the project locations for the duration of the project. The GC will compensate you to return home once per month on the weekends. Limited career moves, tenure is very important to this GC. Proven ability to lead teams and foster collaboration in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of construction safety standards and regulatory compliance. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills to manage multiple priorities. Proficiency in construction management software and tools. A results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.
