Senior Robotics Engineer
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Robotics Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for leading the design, development, testing, and deployment of advanced robotic systems that support automation, efficiency, and safety across our operations. The Senior Robotics Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams—including mechanical, electrical, controls, and software engineers—to deliver high-performance robotic solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and integration of robotic systems for industrial and manufacturing applications.
- Develop algorithms for motion planning, perception, and control of robotic systems.
- Oversee prototyping, testing, and validation of robotic hardware and software.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of robotics into production environments.
- Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot complex robotic system issues.
- Optimize existing robotic systems to improve reliability, efficiency, and performance.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and support to junior engineers and interns.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends in robotics and automation.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure all designs and implementations meet safety, regulatory, and compliance standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or master's degree in Robotics Engineering or a related field.5+ years of hands-on experience in robotics system design, development, and deployment.Proficiency in robotic programming languages and frameworks.Strong understanding of kinematics, dynamics, control systems, and machine vision.Experience with CAD software, simulation tools, and hardware prototyping.Knowledge of industrial automation systems (PLCs, sensors, actuators, etc.).Proven track record of leading projects and delivering robotic solutions in real-world environments.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
Masters in Robotics or related field.Experience with AI / ML applications in robotics (computer vision, path optimization, reinforcement learning).Familiarity with collaborative robots (cobots) and safety standards.Experience in industrial automation, manufacturing, or warehouse robotics.Certifications in robotics, automation, or related technologies.
