Position Scope and Organizational Impact

Moss' Solar Electrical Field Project Engineers assist the Electrical Assistant and Electrical Project Manager in managing large utility-scale solar projects. Responsibilities include supervising activities related to contract administration, change orders, submittals, procurement, and scheduling. A positive attitude and behavior are essential, as interaction with staff at all levels occurs in a dynamic environment.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage crew, reporting, tool connex, and material acquisition activities.
• Coordinate project start-up, including reviewing contracts, developing checklists, mobilization, subcontractor & vendor selection, and scheduling.
• Expedite materials, develop submittal logs, confirm deliveries, and review coordination drawings.
• Coordinate construction activities, conduct meetings, monitor schedules, ensure safety compliance, and participate in site inspections.
• Assist with project administration, including contracts, insurance, meetings, documentation, and communication.
• Track project costs and assist with change order processes, including scope review, scheduling impacts, and negotiations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
