Mobile Equipment Operator

Trinity Rail is hiring a Mobile Equipment Operator at our Jonesboro plant.

The Mobile Equipment Operator position is a great opportunity for a resilient, team-minded individual who does not stray away from a challenge. As a member of the materials and distribution family at Trinity, you will perform activities related to processing, receiving, recording, storing, and / or shipping of raw materials / finished goods. Operates mobile equipment (heavy equipment, forklift, cranes, yard vehicle, lift truck) to move materials / products between warehouse / manufacturing facilities. May utilize computer software to identify materials / goods, ensure accuracy of purchase orders and maintain inventory.

Qualifications - External

May operate a lift truck with over 15,000 pound capacity

Become certified in use of Stationary Overhead Crane and / or mobile crane use

Operate or act as ground crew for track / switch engine

Operate a scissorlift

Follow all safety rules and practices

May be involved in Safety committees or initiatives

Performs other duties as assigned

What you will need :

Experience operating a 6,000 to 10,000 pound forklift system

1-2 years related experience
