About The Position

SHIFT : 8AM - 5 : 00PMSTART : ASAPRATE : $75REQUIRED : CERTIFICATION / LICENSES : ARRT and New Mexico State licenses required. Basic Life Support (BLS) issued through American Heart Association required.EDUCATION : High school diploma or equivalent and graduation from accredited Radiologic Technology Program required.POSITION TITLE : Clinic Radiologic TechnologistDEPARTMENT : ClinicsPOSITION SUMMARY : Performs radiographic procedures in a medical office as requested by physicians. Provides care for patients while obtaining diagnostic quality images for interpretation by a Radiologist.MINIMUM : High school diploma or equivalent and graduation from accredited Radiologic Technology Program required.CERTIFICATION / LICENSES : ARRT and New Mexico State licenses required.SKILLS : Thorough knowledge of radiographic imaging equipment, anatomy and physiology, radiographic positioning, medical terminology and basic computer skills.EXPERIENCE : Minimum one year experience required which can be substituted with clinical education experience.NATURE OF SUPERVISION : -Responsible to : Manager, Clinic; Receives technical direction from the Medical Director of Radiology for CSVRMC and remains in compliance with standards monitored by the CSVRMC Radiation Safety Officer.ENVIRONMENT : - Bloodborne pathogen CExposure to various body fluids and ionizing radiation.
