About the Role

In FTI Consulting's Corporate Finance & Restructuring segment we focus on our clients' strategic, operational, financial, and labor needs by addressing the full spectrum of unique challenges faced by our clients within the travel industry. In FTI's Corporate Finance & Restructuring group, the Aviation and Human Capital group provides clients with direct-industry experience to help navigate the challenges and opportunities they face.

What You'll Do

Apply business, operational, analytical and diagnostic / problem solving skills to various client situations and practice disciplines. Prepare labor, financial, and operational models to support business transformation. Develop and assess business plans, conduct due diligence, and analyze large amounts of data. Draft written reports and / or presentations for third parties, as necessary, on the project scope, findings and / or results of activities. Understand all aspects of the client's business including review of ongoing operations and perform actual vs. budget variance reporting. This role requires travel to clients and FTI offices.

This is an excellent opportunity for a person with proven, hands-on analytical experience, and interest / exposure to travel industry, who wants to provide analytical and strategic services to our clients and other stakeholders of companies looking to address the challenges they are facing.

What You Will Need To Succeed

Basic Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience and demonstrated interest in Airline Industry, Consulting, or another travel-related environment.
  • This role requires travel to clients and FTI offices.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and conceptual skills.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Internet-based financial research resources for corporate information, SEC filings, competitive data, etc.
