Job Summary
The Nerd will complete desktop configurations, installations and upgrades of personal computer hardware and software, perform technology audits, provide software and operating system support on Mac and all versions of Windows, and offer proactive remote monitoring on business systems. The Nerd must have a strong field service background and customer service skills. Nerds must have solid technical skills, good communication skills and the desire to be a part of growing and exciting team.

Responsibilities
Onsite computer solutions for Windows-based PCs and Apple computersOffer solutions such as hardware upgrades and remote monitoring to Residential customers and Business customersNetwork installation and maintenance (wired, wireless, LAN, WAN)Data recovery and loss preventionVirus protection and Spyware / Adware removalComputer security enhancementPC Hardware and software fault isolation and repairSystem repair and upgradesSoftware upgrade and installationOne-on-one trainingQualifications
2-5 years of experience with Windows-based PCs (Win7, Win8, Win10) and networking in both residential and business environmentsStrong knowledge of PC troubleshooting and repair, both hardware and software / OSKnowledge of network troubleshooting, wiring, PC troubleshooting (ex. Network+, MCSE, etc.)Proficiency with peer-to-peer and client / server network configurations and troubleshootingProfessional, high-energy, customer-oriented work ethicValid driver's license and a clean driving recordMust be willing to submit to mandatory background checkJ-18808-Ljbffr
