Mission Technologies, a Division of HII, is seeking a Sim Control Operator to support our Modeling, Simulation, and Training team at the Joint Integrated Test and Training Center – Nellis (JITTC-N), Nellis, AFB, NV. The individual's primary role is to ensure Joint Simulation Environment (JSE) Simulator is loaded and operating in proper configuration that provides simulation environment for mission execution through utilization of the Simulator Control Executive (SCE).

What You Will Do

The primary responsibility of this role will be loading the simulators in the desired configuration, to include initial conditions such as :

• Operators will work closely with the JSE Participants (Event Coordinator, Pilots, etc.) to ensure the configuration matches unit expectations.
• Starting the Simulator Control Element (SCE), Global Reference Interface Domain (GRID) and Next Generation Threat Simulation (NGTS) processes.
• Troubleshooting issues with individual simulators, working with Simulator Technicians to verify fixes and simulator readiness.
• Maintains understanding / knowledge of simulation equipment, catalogs, and operation manuals.
• Contribute to the editing / update of operation manuals.
• Monitor simulation models and processes during event execution to readily identify and troubleshoot issues.
