A company is looking for a Community Engagement and Government Information Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, catalog, and collate information related to proposed rules and existing rules that may be repealed
Coordinate and lead volunteers to advance the Public Comments Initiative
Develop and lead workshops about effectively writing and leveraging public records requests and public comments
Write, process, and liaise with government bodies and communities about public records requests
Coordinate internal learning sessions about relevant issues
Skills and Qualifications
Demonstrated environmental policy experience
Demonstrated community engagement experience
Experience working with government information
Ability to work independently and collaborate well with others
