job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide nursing care to patients with neurological conditions, including CVA, epilepsy, and other related diagnoses. Monitor and interpret telemetry data, responding to cardiac dysrhythmias as needed. Administer medications and manage IV therapy, including central and peripheral lines. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care. Participate in hospital-wide initiatives and support other units as required. Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical and Telemetry nursing. Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications. Completion of a 16-hour Maryland Approved Trauma Certification by week 27. Experience with Cerner charting system is preferred. Effective communication and collaboration skills. Join our team as a Neuro Medical Surgical Telemetry Nurse in a certified stroke center and Level IV Epilepsy Monitoring Unit. This position is designed for a skilled nurse with neurology and medical-surgical telemetry experience, providing care primarily for neuro-related diagnoses while also supporting other patient populations.
