As an Associate Attorney in our Orleans office, you'll join a team who values hard work, and encourages a healthy work / life balance. The compensation package includes salaried compensation, bonuses paid for attaining billing targets, incentive payments for originating business, health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and we match your elective deferrals to the 401k plan. Profit sharing contributions to the 401(k) plan, in addition to matching are also part of the compensation package at the discretion of the firm.
We are looking for an associate attorney to join a strong, dynamic team, and fulfill the following responsibilities of the associate attorney position :
- Takes the Lead . This position requires the associate attorney to be capable of taking the lead attorney position on divorce and family law cases that are within the candidate's range of capability.
- Supports the Lead. This position requires the associate attorney to be capable of working with another attorney in tandem on a case.
- Is an Ideal Team Player . At MIF PC, we work assiduously to cultivate a team culture where everyone aspires to be humble, hungry, and smart at all times.
- Develops Business and Assists with Marketing . While the associate attorney position has no business development requirements, the ideal candidate recognizes the importance of entrepreneurship in originating cases and cooperates with the firm principal on marketing to promote the candidate and the firm as a whole.
- Communicates Effectively . An ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills which are necessary for executing case strategy; collaborating with teammates; and ensuring that clients' needs and expectations are being met.
Qualifications
Legal advice and negotiation skills.Specialization in Family & Divorce law.Strong problem-solving skills.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.Excellent research skills with the ability to analyze complex information effectively.Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.Experience working in a legal setting.Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team-centered environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite such as Word and Excel.Proficiency in LEAP.MA Bar certified.Pay : $85,000.00+ per year
