People Architects is recruiting for our client, a fast-growing portfolio of consumer brands is searching for a hands-on IT Operations Specialist to join our IT team based out of our Canton, OH headquarters. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a high-growth environment where technology and operations are critical to delivering world-class products and customer experiences.

In this role, you’ll support the IT Manager with day-to-day infrastructure needs, provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support, and play a key role in maintaining systems that power both our office and warehouse operations. From network and cloud administration to troubleshooting barcode scanners and shipping hardware, this position offers a unique blend of corporate IT and 3PL warehouse technology support.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, monitor, and maintain IT systems (networks, servers, cloud platforms).
  • Provide end-user support (hardware, software, connectivity, helpdesk management).
  • Troubleshoot and optimize inventory management software, barcode scanners, and shipping scales used in our 3PL warehouse.
  • Administer and track IT equipment for new hires and departing employees.
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure data integrity and accessibility for decision-making.
  • Implement and monitor security protocols to safeguard company systems.
  • Work with external vendors and service providers on IT-related services.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.

Qualifications (Required and Preferred)

  • 3+ years of IT operations experience, including network / system administration.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with warehouse technologies (inventory software, barcode scanners, shipping hardware).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT / Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • Bonus points for prior experience in ecommerce or helpdesk management.
