PRIDE Health is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel job in Eastland, Texas.
Job Description & Requirements
1. Uses effective interpersonal relations and communication skills.
2. Comprehensive knowledge of the physical, emotional, social and biological changes that occur in the geriatric population.
3. Self-directed, enthusiastic and accepts constructive feedback.
4. Maintains current licensure certifications and meets mandatory continuing education requirements.
5. Demonstrates commitment, professional growth and competency.
6. Ability to work flexible schedule and travel locally.
7. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
8. Demonstrated ability to work independent and cooperatively as an effective team member.
9. Ability to do heavy lifting, bending, pulling, pushing and standing. Prolonged standing and walking required. Requires working under some stressful conditions to meet deadlines and patient needs and to meet patient / family individualized psycho social needs.
10. Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
11. Must read, write and speak fluent English.
Skills
Current state license to practice Physical Therapy - Required
Proof of current CPR certification - Required
Current driver's license - Required
Must have reliable transportation and insurance - Required
2 years experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant - Required
Education
Graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy assistant with an Associate Degree in Physical Therapy - Required
May be shared between Albany, Brownwood and Abilene
30 units
Home Health and HCHB preferred
