Job Description

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Wickman CNC Operator role in Wood Village, OR. Key Responsibilities :

Set up, operate, and monitor Wickman multi-spindle CNC machines to produce precision metal components according to specifications.
Inspect parts using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) to ensure adherence to tight tolerances.
Perform machine adjustments and tool changes as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders to ensure accurate part production.
Maintain accurate production records, including quantities produced, inspection results, and downtime logs.
Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure proper operation.
Identify and troubleshoot mechanical or process issues, escalating when necessary.
Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Work independently while maintaining strong communication with the production team and supervisors.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience operating Wickman multi-spindle or CNC screw machines required.

Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.

Must be able to stand for 10-hour shifts and lift up to 50+ lbs.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
