Job Title : Social Media Coordinator

Reports To : VP of Intake & Marketing

Compensation : $22.25-$26.00 / hour

Location : San Antonio, TX – In Corporate office

Job Summary :

As a Social Media Coordinator at Empower Behavioral Health (EBH), you will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and executing content across all social media platforms to increase engagement, brand awareness, and community connection. You will work closely with the marketing team, community liaisons, and clinic leadership to ensure that content reflects our mission, resonates with families and professionals, and supports recruitment, patient acquisition, and community engagement initiatives.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage social media accounts across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other platforms.
  • Plan, design, and publish engaging content including graphics, short videos, reels, and stories.
  • Write compelling, parent-friendly and professional captions that align with Empower’s brand voice.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather photos, videos, and stories from clinics and events.
  • Maintain a consistent posting schedule through content calendars.
  • Monitor social channels daily, engage with followers, and respond to comments / messages.
  • Track and report on social media analytics, providing insights to improve performance.
  • Stay current with platform trends, features, and best practices to keep EBH’s content competitive and engaging.
  • Ensure all content is aligned with EBH’s branding, mission, and values.
  • Regularly generate and propose innovative social media campaigns and solutions to strengthen EBH’s brand visibility, patient engagement, and clinic promotion.
  • Create targeted strategies, including paid social campaigns, to support recruitment marketing for hard-to-fill roles such as BCBAs.

Requirements :

Education & Experience :

  • 1–2 years of professional experience in social media content creation or management.
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar graphic and video editing tools.
  • Experience in organic social media brand management (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok).
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
  • Passion for healthcare and improving the lives of children and families.
  • Preferred

  • Experience with short-form video creation (TikTok, Reels, Stories).
  • Familiarity with social media management tools (Later, Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.).
  • Experience with social media analytics and reporting.
  • Photography and / or videography skills.
