What to Expect (Job Responsibilities) :

  • Lead the health practice team to achieve strategic growth and market distinction
  • Serve as a strategic partner to clients, directing high-impact programs to meet their business goals
  • Build and nurture long-term client relationships while generating organic revenue
  • Identify and lead new business pitches to acquire new clients and meet growth objectives
  • Oversee team staffing and resources to ensure high-quality work for clients

    • What is Required (Qualifications) :

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in communications, ideally in both agency and in-house settings
  • Extensive experience leading strategic communication strategies in healthcare, medtech, pharma, and life sciences
  • Strong experience in pharma, biotech, and / or life sciences preferred
  • Proven track record of delivering creative communications campaigns within regulated markets
  • Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills

    • How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) :

  • Experience with integrated programs spanning digital, editorial, and media relations
  • Demonstrated experience leading new business efforts, including targeted outreach and proposal development
  • Innovative thinker with a history of translating strategic thinking into actionable plans
  • Significant experience providing communications counsel to executives and senior marketers
  • Business acumen in budgeting, billing, and staffing
