About The Position

Experience : Minimum 1 year in an acute care hospital setting required

License : IN or compact RN license required

Certifications : BLS through AHA required

Must-Have : 1+ years of Medsurg experience required

Description :

This position involves general nursing duties in a medical setting.

The nurse will be responsible for patient care and various procedures related to the unit.

Equipment utilized includes IV pumps, wound vacs, lifts, feeding pumps, SCDs, NG tubes, suction, and Foley catheters.

The nurse to patient ratio for this unit is 5 : 1.

The schedule consists of 36 hours per week, with three weekend shifts each month.

Orientation includes specific training on unit protocols.

Mandatory attendance is required for the entire orientation program.

Floating to other departments is not expected in this role.

Candidates must have effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

This position does not require call shifts and the employee will not work alone.
