Job Summary : The Maintenance Technician provides general maintenance to the presses, cutters and finishing production lines to ensure they are working effectively including : Troubleshooting, Repairing, Installing, and Adjusting parts. This position works Monday-Thursday 1 : 45pm-11 : 45pm.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Performs routine maintenance checks on all equipment and follows preventative maintenance proceduresEnsures we are following proper procedures in regards to safety and OSHA regulations; administers lock-out tag-out procedures on any unsafe equipment that is in need of repairsSupports the installation, development and startup of new processesProperly documents procedures and maintain maintenance recordsMaintain inventory and good repair of all assigned tools and equipmentCommunicate essential information regarding incomplete repairs at shift changeUse tools ranging from common hand and power tools to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices.Diagnose electrical and mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary.Other duties as assigned3-5 years experience as a Maintenance Mechanic, Technician or equivalentAbility to pass background check and drug screeningKnowledge of electrical power and control voltageTroubleshooting PLC devices, printers and labeler; Pneumatic and hydraulicAbility to read blueprints and schematic wiring diagramsBasic computer and math skillsForklift and scissor lift experienceAbility to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs. regularly throughout shiftCompensation details : 32-40 Hourly Wage
