About the Role

The role involves scheduling, preparing, and conducting complex job analyses and validation studies for classifications utilized by DSH, ensuring adherence to legal standards and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Schedules, prepares, and conducts complex job analyses / validation studies.
• Ensures compliance with the California Department of Human Resources and Federal Uniform Guidelines on Employee Selection Procedures.
• Determines primary tasks and the knowledge, skills, abilities, personal characteristics (KSAPC), and behaviors of the position.
• Prepares job analysis reports identifying each step of the job analysis process.
• Submits reports to management and / or control agency for approval.
• Makes changes and updates applicable database as needed.
• Conducts analytical studies of each testing classification reflective of the qualifications required for successful job performance.
• Collaborates with subject-matter experts on the development and / or revision of examination materials.
