About the Role
The Growth Manager, eCommerce is a blended strategic advisor + hands-on performance marketer who owns both the client relationship and the execution of paid media programs across DTC / eCommerce channels. Acting as a senior marketing lead or fractional CMO and primary point-of-contact for KlientBoost clients, the role is accountable for driving net-revenue retention (NRR), same-store growth (SSG), client goal achievement, high client NPS, and world-class client experience for a focused book of 8-12 brands. This role is pivotal in fostering strong client relationships, ensuring the achievement of mutually agreed-upon goals, and guiding clients through various stages of marketing maturity. You will serve as the central hub for client success, blending strategic marketing expertise with exceptional relationship management.
What You'll Do
Revenue Growth & Strategy
- Proactively identifying and implementing strategies to increase client MRR, revenue, and profit. This includes analyzing performance data, identifying opportunities for optimization, and executing effective marketing campaigns.
Paid Media Execution
Strong to expert knowledge of Meta or Google AdsBuild, launch, and optimize campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Microsoft, Amazon, and emerging DTC platformsRegularly monitor and analyze paid media performance, providing comprehensive reports to clients, and using data-driven insights to optimize strategies and ensure continuous improvement.Audit marketing funnels and paid media mix to develop quarterly growth roadmaps aligned with CAC, ROAS, Profit, and LTV targetsTranslate product feeds, offers, and merchandising calendars into scalable ad account structuresStay current with ad platform trends and certifications to maintain cutting-edge expertise.Client Partnership
Lead all client communications, including weekly / bi-weekly calls and async updates. Act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders (owners, CMOs), managing issue lists, action items, and post-mortemsDeliver insights-driven reports that connect channel metrics (CPA, MER, Contribution Margin) to overall business P&L impactCollaborating with clients to define clear, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound goals, and ensuring their successful attainment through diligent project management and performance monitoring.Guide clients through the Marketing Maturity Mountain (M3) framework, helping them progress through different stages of growth and implement appropriate marketing strategies at each level.Initiate and drive contract renewals and extensions, ensuring long-term client partnerships and revenue stability.Data & Testing
Design statistically rigorous experiments (creative, bid / budget splits, landing pages)Partner with BI teams on server-side tagging, cohort / LTV dashboards, and media mix modeling (MMM) initiativesCross-Functional Collaboration
Represent your clients internally to other teamsCollaborate with CRO, Performance Creative, Email, Data Ops, and SEO teams to drive account improvements using Asana for task management, ensuring efficient workflow and clear communication.Identifying opportunities to expand client relationships by strategically upselling existing services and cross-selling new offerings, aligning these recommendations with client goals and accelerating their progress.Thought Leadership
Partner with the KlientBoost Marketing team to generate eCommerce focused content to share, primarily on LinkedIn developing a personal brand, known for eCommerce expertiseRepresent KlientBoost in industry-facing settings, including webinars, Slack communities, and conferences as an eCommerce growth expertKnowledge and Critical Skills / Expertise
You have knowledge and experience across paid search and social platforms including but not limited to Google, Meta, Microsoft and LinkedIn. Reddit, Pinterest and Feed Management is a plus.You have a base knowledge and experience around additional services such as Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), & Performance Creative.You have great soft skills - you're fun, likable, and very detail-oriented. You are extremely comfortable leading conversations with clients and work very well with others across multiple services as a close team. One team, one dream.Did I mention detail oriented? 3-5 years hands-on-keyboard in DTC paid search & paid social; agency or high-growth brand side.Proven management of ? $250k / mo total ad spend across ? 5 eCommerce brands.Fluency in the Shopify ecosystem, product-feed management, GA4 analytics, and Pixel set up & management.Working knowledge of creative strategy, CRO frameworks, retention marketingNice to have / bonus : experience with third party attribution and measurement tools like :TriplewhaleNorthbeamHausFunnel.io, etc.Advanced Excel / Looker Studio modeling; comfort explaining incrementality, blended MER, and contribution margin to founders / finance.Benefits
