Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

We are seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacy Technician for a full-time, travel (or local) position in Akron, OH.

Start Date : ASAP

Schedule : Days / Afternoons, no weekends or holidays

Type : Full-Time | 13-week contract to hire

Responsibilities :

Retrieve, count, and measure medications.

Assist pharmacists with price-checking and restocking.

Access, input, and retrieve prescription information in the pharmacy system.

Refer physicians calls and all medical-related questions to the pharmacist.

Support hospital operations by maintaining safety, quality, and infection control standards.

Integrate the hospitals mission and guiding principles into daily practice.

Qualifications :

High School Diploma or equivalent (unless registered by the State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician).

State certification and registration with the Board of Pharmacy (preferred).

National Certification (PTCB) (preferred).

Previous hospital pharmacy experience (preferred).

Knowledge of pharmacy operations and clinical procedures.

Strong organizational, munication, and puter skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and teamwork.
