Vacancy Title : Technical Area Sales Manager – Envelope Fixing Systems – South West Region

Our client is a premier manufacturer of systems that fix, fasten, and protect buildings. They provide extensive options and a commitment to product quality, innovation, bespoke technical solutions, and exceptional service.

We are looking for an exceptional Technical Sales Manager for the South West Region, ideally with technical sales experience of Flat Roofing Steel, Concrete, Timber, and Critical Decks. This opportunity offers a competitive salary package and uncapped commission starting at 20% of annual salary.

Objectives :

  • Achieve budgeted turnover and profitability targets
  • Manage and develop new business in the defined sales region through a consultative sales approach
  • Represent the company in a professional and proficient manner at all times

Principal Duties :

  • Manage key accounts within sales territory
  • Develop new and existing business within the region by working with sub-contractors, key OEM, and distribution partners
  • Provide technical and consultative sales support by networking and building strong working relationships within all departments of the customer / client
  • Ensure good product and application knowledge at all times
  • Ensure the highest standard of customer service is provided at all times
  • Maximize profitability whilst securing the business
  • Pro-actively seek and secure projects within your sales region
  • Work closely with peers to fully leverage all opportunities
  • Understand competitors and report back on a regular basis any information of note
  • Complete all sales administration as required in full and on time

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills capable of creating relationships with stakeholders at all levels within the business

  • Have good business and commercial awareness
  • Understand market requirements and opportunities
  • Able to fulfill administrative duties linked to functional role such as updating company CRM, completing expenses, and populating sales meeting reports
  • Salary Package :

  • Salary negotiable dependent on experience
