Talent Consultants is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Advisor in Statistics to join our team. In this role, you will provide expert statistical analysis and guidance to support our organization’s data-driven decision-making processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop statistical models, design experiments, and analyze complex datasets to derive actionable insights. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in statistical methodologies, data analysis, and an ability to communicate results effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement statistical methodologies to address business questions and improve operational efficiencies.
  • Analyze complex datasets using both traditional and modern statistical techniques, ensuring accuracy and integrity of results.
  • Create clear and comprehensive reports and presentations that communicate statistical findings to stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and team members on statistical best practices.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to design experiments and studies that yield meaningful insights.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in statistical analysis techniques and software.
  • Support the development of data governance and data quality initiatives to enhance the organization's analytical capabilities.
  • Work closely with IT and data management teams to ensure proper data collection and storage practices.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical standards and regulations related to data handling and statistical practices.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or Ph.D. in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in statistical analysis or data science, with a focus on applying statistical methods to real-world problems.
  • In-depth knowledge of statistical software (e.g., R, SAS, Python, SPSS) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically about statistical models and assumptions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a proven ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Experience in designing experiments and conducting A / B testing is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts and techniques is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a consulting role or industry with significant data analysis responsibilities is an advantage.
