Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team in Sierra Vista, United States. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping patients improve their mobility, manage pain, and enhance their quality of life through comprehensive therapeutic interventions.
- Perform thorough physical therapy evaluations to assess patients' physical status, range of motion, strength, and functional capabilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings and patient goals
- Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions and exercise instruction to patients
- Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes using electronic medical records
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care
- Supervise and guide Physical Therapy Assistants and support staff
- Maintain compliance with state regulations and professional standards
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, home exercise programs, and preventive care
- Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
Qualifications
Graduate degree from a CAPTE accredited Physical Therapy ProgramCurrent state licensure as a Physical TherapistValid CPR certificationProficiency in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and MS OfficeStrong assessment and evaluation skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesDemonstrated knowledge of physical therapy protocols and treatment techniquesUnderstanding of anatomy, physiology, and pain management principlesExperience with rehabilitation equipment and safety protocolsAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare teamStrong documentation and organization skillsCommitment to continuing education and professional developmentNew graduates are welcome to applyNote : This position requires adherence to all applicable state practice regulations and the American Physical Therapy Association code of ethics.
Additional Information
Compensation : $80,000 - $95,000 depending upon experience
