Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist – Neuro Diagnostics - $1,940 per week

Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Registered Respiratory Therapist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 11 / 30 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Title : Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Location : Columbus, OH Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night Shift, 3x12-Hour (19 : 00 – 07 : 30) Job Responsibilities : Deliver comprehensive respiratory care to adult and geriatric patients in a large academic medical center. Administer aerosolized and inhaled medications, including Albuterol, Atrovent, Racemic Epinephrine, and Nitric Oxide (INo). Set up, manage, and troubleshoot ventilators, including GE 860 preferred vents. Provide BiPAP, CPAP, and High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) therapy. Perform airway management procedures such as extubation, suctioning, tracheostomy care, and sputum collection. Monitor, interpret, and report arterial blood gases (ABGs) and other respiratory assessments. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes. Support patients across various care settings including Med / Surg floors, Progressive Care Units (PCU), and the Emergency Department. Float to Ohio State University East Hospital as needed within scope of practice. Document all care accurately and promptly in the electronic medical record (EMR).
