General Summary :
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, researching competitive pricing and generating purchase orders for maintenance supplies, daily spot buys of items needed by internal departments, ensuring appropriate inventory levels are maintained, and that records are accurately recorded.
Primary job responsibilities :
- Works with Rosenboom personnel to be ensure that the necessary job related supplies are available when needed;
- Researches competitive prices and generates purchase orders including, but not limited to, machine tooling, welding supplies, maintenance supplies, safety equipment, paint equipment, packaging supplies, office supplies, etc. using a pre-determined approved list of vendors and suppliers;
- Reconciles invoices to ensure accurate accounting;
- Maintains records of costs of items purchased, delivery, product performance and inventories;
- Discusses defective or unacceptable goods with Rosenboom personnel and vendors and confers with the appropriate Rosenboom manager regarding corrective actions;
