What You’ll Do

Circulate in a variety of surgical procedures, ensuring optimal OR flow and patient safety

Maintain a sterile field and follow strict infection prevention standards

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical techs throughout procedures

Monitor and document patient status during intraoperative care

Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams

Prepare OR equipment and verify availability of instruments and supplies

What We’re Looking For

Experienced in circulating OR cases across multiple specialties

Calm, organized, and able to anticipate surgical team needs

Knowledgeable in sterile technique, OR workflow, and EMR documentation

Adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced ambulatory environment

Excellent communicator and reliable team player

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required

Active RN license in the state of Texas (required)

BLS and ACLS certifications (required or willingness to obtain upon hire)

Minimum 1 year of circulating experience in the OR (required)

Familiarity with electronic medical records and surgical documentation systems a plus
