Overview
POSITION SUMMARY : The Onsite Consultant is responsible for providing professional and responsive service to onsite customers in environments including production, mailroom, shipping and / or retail services. Interfaces with customers at various levels inside the venue or organization to meet requests and contract requirements. Performs functions including operating computers and equipment, moving boxes, stocking supplies, managing projects, writing forms, sorting papers, completing tasks by priority, following supervisor instructions, and communicating effectively with team members. Delivers a positive customer experience using consultative skills to anticipate needs, suggest alternatives, and provide solutions. Works with minimal instruction and supervision and interacts daily with customers, managers, team members, and vendors to accomplish established objectives.

Responsibilities
- Follow FedEx Office standard operating procedures and adhere to legal, HR, safety and security policies.
- Follow supervisor instructions and assist other team members in onsite functions.
- Meet onsite guidelines and policies (safety training, background check, and other requirements).
- Keep premises neat and safe, maximizing safety and efficiency.
- Maintain high levels of customer service; resolve issues with escalation to supervisor as needed.
- Provide customer service, problem solving, and support with minimal supervision.
- Perform multiple tasks concurrently.
- Assist in training onsite team members.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer data and careful handling of documents, media, and packages.
- Perform administrative duties, including ordering supplies and inventory controls.
- Collaborate with office and print locations to produce customer work and fulfill needs.
Production
Produce complex orders, prioritize production, perform quality checks, and coordinate pickups and deliveries.Operate Digital and Graphics printers, binding and other auxiliary equipment.Monitor production flow to ensure orders are completed on time.Ensure quality during and after production; perform all phases of equipment setup, operation, and maintenance.Produce work in line with LEAN principles to achieve quality results on time.Shipping & Mailroom
Coordinate all mail and shipping related services and activities.Pick up and deliver packages and mail onsite; maneuver packages with appropriate equipment.Prepare goods for shipping; wrap items, containerize, weigh, and label parcels.Operate and maintain a mail processing machine (mail meter) for outbound mail.Advise customers on shipping methods, products, routes, and rates.Sort and prepare packages for pickup or delivery to designated stops.Log receipts and releases of packages using tracking systems; use pallet jacks and other handling equipment.Research packages / mail with unknown recipients as needed.Retail
Provide friendly, professional service with consultative behaviors.Apply expertise in printing, signs and graphics, and shipping to recommend FedEx Office products and services.Anticipate customer needs, suggest alternatives, and deliver solutions.Take complex orders accurately, including pricing information; manage bid follow-up and consult on complex orders.Apply knowledge of onsite pricing and contractual obligations.If applicable, operate POS terminal, process financial transactions, and handle cash securely.All other duties as needed or required.Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required.1+ year of specialized experience preferred.Excellent verbal and written skills.Proficiency with computer systems and ability to learn new software quickly.For new hires, must meet all FedEx Office employment qualifications in force at time of hiring.For current FedEx Office team members, must meet hiring criteria for the position and transfer requirements as outlined in the Team Member Handbook.Essential Functions
