Job Description

As a Senior Member of Technical Staff, you will play a key role in developing complex web frameworks that leverage the full potential of modern web platform ecosystems. You will utilize your expertise in web development internals to optimize performance, ensure compatibility, and drive innovation in our development efforts.

Responsibilities

As a member of our global team, you will :

  • Develop High-Performance Web Applications / Frameworks : Design, develop, and optimize complex applications / Framework that take advantage of modern web features and capabilities.
  • Web ecosystem Internals Expertise : Develop and maintain a deep understanding of web API’s and OSI model.
  • Performance Optimization : Analyze and optimize website performance using tools.
  • Code Quality and Best Practices : Develop high-quality, maintainable code that adheres to industry best practices and coding standards.
  • Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing : Collaborate with other developers, designers, and stakeholders to share knowledge, expertise, and best practices.

What you'll bring :

General Qualifications

  • BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with Web Development
  • 5+ years of software development experience with complex low-level programming, data structures / algorithms.
  • Expert level understanding of Web platform design and architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript with good knowledge of the language specification.
  • Understanding of networking such as TCP / IP, UDP, DNS, Broadcast, HTTP(S), TLS, and proxying.
  • Expert knowledge of the Website landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
  • Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD).
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Strong understanding of concurrent programming including threads on the Web platform.
  • Comfortable with CMAKE, CLANG,  and Git
  • Comfortable using SQLite.
  • Understanding of using cryptographic functions to create signatures and / or hashes using provided system APIs or common libraries such as OpenSSL / BoringSSL.
  • Comfortable working with the command line / terminal.
  • Strong debugging, profiling, and optimization (both performance and memory footprint) skills.
  • Perform code reviews to ensure high quality code and adherence to best practices and standards.

    US : Hiring Range in USD from : $79,200 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
