We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented and technically skilled Systems Security Analyst to join our dynamic team for an onsite 12 month opportunity. This role plays a pivotal part in strengthening our IT infrastructure, safeguarding sensitive data, and ensuring compliance with various cybersecurity frameworks. We are seeking a proactive professional who can adeptly navigate the ever-evolving landscape of cyber threats and deliver scalable, secure solutions that align with operational goals. This is an onsite role.
Responsibilities
- Network Security : Strong understanding and experience with secure configuration, auditing, and monitoring of network devices. Ability to implement security controls and recommend corrective actions that align with cybersecurity policies and standards.
- Operating Systems Security : Strong understanding and experience with Operating System security for servers, IoT, and mobile operating systems. Ability to identify gaps and recommend corrective actions that align with cybersecurity policies and standards.
- Security Tools and Platforms : Experience with managing SOC / SIEM platforms for real-time threat detection. Use vulnerability scanners and endpoint protection tools (e.g., MDR / DR solutions).
- Threat Detection and Incident Response : Experience with conducting threat response actions and incident response investigations. Experience with system hardening and patch management.
- Access Control Management : Strong understanding of IAM, MFA, SSO, and Zero Trust principles. Experience with Active Directory using RBAC and least-privilege access.
- Cloud Security : Strong understanding of securing AWS and Azure workloads using cloud-native tools and SaaS posture management. Ability to implement cloud-based security controls.
- Risk Assessment and Governance : Experience with performing risk analysis using NIST 800-53, NIST CSF, HIPAA, CJIS, and PCI frameworks. Ability to develop mitigation strategies and implement security controls to ensure regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity or systems analysisStrong understanding of security principles, tools, and frameworksIndustry certifications preferred (e.g., CISSP, CEH, Security+, Azure Security Engineer)
