Responsibilities :

  • Ensure Product Quality & Customer Satisfaction : Monitor and measure production outputs to meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Lead Continuous Improvement Initiatives : Identify and implement corrective actions and improvement opportunities across processes and teams.
  • Optimize Testing & Inspection Methods : Select and apply appropriate measurement techniques and equipment, including programming and operating Vision Measurement systems (Micro-Vu).
  • Manage Supplier Quality : Evaluate, audit, and monitor internal and external suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards and drive corrective actions.
  • Handle Customer Complaints & Claims : Investigate product quality issues, manage complaints, and communicate resolutions and corrective actions.
  • Support New Product Launches : Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure quality requirements are met for new production, including PPAPs and FAIRs.
  • Coordinate Quality Documentation & Reporting : Maintain databases such as SCAR and CCAR, and ensure accurate documentation of audits, inspections, and corrective actions.
  • Define and Maintain Quality Standards : Develop and apply quality control concepts, sampling plans, and performance metrics to prevent non-conformities and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with Customers & Suppliers : Act as a liaison for quality-related inquiries, investigations, and returns, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Support Visual Inspection Operations : Oversee and scale visual inspection workforce based on business needs and quality requirements.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Relevant Field; advanced degree preferred or compensating years of experience
  • 1 to 3 years' experience in quality with a production and manufacturing industry
  • Relevant certifications, system experience, and training
  • Professional-Level English language skills preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Working knowledge of or ability to learn quality processes such as APQP, ISO, PPAP, 8D, 5Why, and continuous improvement programs such as 6Sigma and Lean.
  • Working knowledge of or ability to learn Microsoft Excel.
  • Working knowledge of or ability to learn manufacturing processes, specifically related to rubber products.
