Overview of the Role :
Join our client's dynamic Cost Reduction and Value Engineering Team and drive innovative engineering projects that shape the future of clean energy. This role offers the opportunity to manage cutting-edge Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects from conceptual design through implementation, directly impacting our client's renewable energy portfolio and contributing to a sustainable future.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage engineering projects from conceptual design through commissioning and implementation
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to identify product improvements or cost reduction ideas
- Support implementation by providing technical input and project feasibility assessments
- Lead project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation activities
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure project deliverables
- Develop and maintain project documentation, reports, and stakeholder communications
- Attend industry conferences and network with suppliers and vendors
- Provide input on process improvements and best practices for project delivery
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical Engineering, or related engineering discipline3+ years of experience managing engineering projects from design to implementationDemonstrated ability to lead cross-functional project teams and coordinate multiple stakeholdersStrong project management fundamentals including scope, schedule, budget, and risk managementUnderstanding of engineering design processes, technical specifications, and implementation challengesProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesA sense of ownership and accountability for project outcomesIntellectually curious individual who is enthusiastic about problem solving and creative thinkingA detail-oriented person with due diligence and research skillsComfortable with fast-paced and constantly evolving environmentsDesired Qualifications :
Experience with Solar PV and / or Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects or other Power generation systemsKnowledge of project valuation methodologies and financial metrics (NPV, IRR, LCOE)Understanding of utility-scale energy project developmentExperience with data analysis and analytics is preferredPerks of Working with AP Recruiters & Associates :
