I&C Electrical Project Engineer

Overview

This site Electrical / Instrumentation & Controls Project Engineer is responsible for consulting on high priority projects scoping and reviewing these scopes with system engineers from relevant disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Develop Electrical and I&C scopes of work for infrastructure projects which may include modifications to existing systems or addition of new systems; Scopes will include any demolition of existing controls and controls devices
• New systems or modifications to existing systems will be scoped to include I&C design, PLC programming, and HMI programming and any upgrades of existing controls equipment that is needed
• Perform field verification of Electrical and I&C system drawings and field investigations to develop accurate scope of work requirements
• Participate in project reviews to ensure designs are meeting the scope of work requirements
• Provide final drawing and document reviews, including construction redlines, to confirm system sustaining drawings and documents are updated with project revisions
• Provide oversight on infrastructure projects and problem resolution for roadblocks
• Meet ongoing milestones for projects and customer requests
• Meet project expectations for various site projects : Business Unit funded for tooling and infrastructure
• Support startup of installed equipment and other duties as assigned

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical / dental / vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note : Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
