$65,000 - $85,000, DOE

Job Summary

Product Support Engineer in Fargo, ND : collaborate with design engineers to develop, refine, and validate mechanical components and systems; support design reviews and testing activities; coordinate timelines, resources, and deliverables across multiple design projects; facilitate communication between engineering, manufacturing, and supply-chain teams; assist with documentation, BOM creation, and change management using Windchill or a similar PLM system; apply informal project-management skills to track progress, identify risks, and ensure program alignment; contribute to continuous improvement of design processes and product performance; support root-cause analysis and corrective actions for design-related issues; work collaboratively with suppliers and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
• Proficient in Creo
• Ability to travel once per week to client locations (within driving distance, no overnight stays)
• Informal project-management experience tracking timelines, deliverables, and risks
• Documentation and process-optimization experience
• Experience with PLM systems such as Windchill for BOM and change management
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and diagnostics
• Familiarity with design validation, testing, and root-cause analysis
• Experience in agricultural, industrial, or high-tech machinery environments strongly preferred
