AOI Operator, Up to $20 / hr – Shelby Twp, MI

Are you detail-oriented and enjoy working with technology in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? Join a team that values quality, growth, and innovation . We are looking for an AOI Operator to help inspect and maintain quality in electronic assemblies using Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) systems . If you have an eye for detail and a passion for electronics, this could be the opportunity for you!

Qualifications :

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in SMT electronics assembly
  • IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 certification preferred
  • Experience working in an ISO-9001 manufacturing environment preferred
  • Basic knowledge of Windows computers, Microsoft Word, and Excel

Skills :

  • Set up and operate Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) systems
  • Inspect electronic components and circuit boards for defects such as soldering issues or misplacements
  • Identify and categorize non-conformities and report for corrective action
  • Diagnose and resolve minor technical issues with AOI equipment
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and communicate findings to quality teams
  • Ensure AOI machines are clean, calibrated, and well-maintained
  • Work with production, engineering, and QC teams to support quality goals

    • As an AOI Operator , you will play a key role in ensuring product quality and supporting high-tech manufacturing operations . 1st and 2nd shift positions available with overtime opportunities. This is a full-time role in Shelby Twp, MI , paying up to $20 / hr depending on experience .
